Coronavirus in Mauritius: 536 fines issued for selling articles at a higher price

The Prime Minister, Pravind Kumar Jugnauth has announced during his press conference tonight that 413 shops and businesses have been visited by the inspectors of the Consumer Protection Unit and 536 fines have been issued in total during the last two days.
Moreover, he has declared that the government will not tolerate any illegal increase in price specially during this period and that if necessary, the trade license of businesses that are not respecting the law will be suspended.
